A Shared Vision for African Empowerment

The United Africa Advisory Board (UAAB) held its inaugural swearing-in ceremony, a historic celebration of African representation in Prince George’s County.

In partnership with the Office of County Executive Aisha Braveboy, the event gathered ambassadors, leaders, and members of the African diaspora to honor collaboration, unity, and progress.

UAAB represents a unified voice for African residents across Prince George’s County. The organization focuses on strengthening community leadership, expanding cultural recognition, and creating fair access to local government opportunities.

“Our unity creates impact,” said a UAAB representative. “Together, we can ensure that African communities are seen, supported, and heard.”
